Frequently asked questions about Morocco itineraries.
How many days do I need for a good Morocco itinerary?
It depends on how much ground you want to cover. A focused city trip around a hub such as Casablanca or Marrakech works well in three to four days, taking in the main sights and a day trip or two. To link Casablanca and Rabat with an imperial city like Fes or with Marrakech, plan on seven to ten days so the travel times stay comfortable. Two weeks lets you add the desert, the Atlas mountains and the coast at an unhurried pace.
Are your Morocco itineraries private and customizable?
Yes. Every itinerary we plan is private to your party and fully adjustable. The day-by-day routes shown here are starting points — we change the cities, the number of days, the accommodation style and the pace to match your dates, budget and interests before anything is confirmed.
What does a typical day on a Morocco itinerary include?
A typical day blends guided sightseeing with free time. Mornings are usually the best hours for monuments, medinas and markets, with a sit-down lunch and a slower afternoon for a museum, a garden, the seafront or a workshop. On travel days you cover the distance between cities or regions — easy by Morocco's national rail network from Casablanca, or by private vehicle — often with stops at viewpoints or towns along the way.
What is usually included in a Morocco itinerary?
Most tailored itineraries cover your accommodation (city hotels, or riads in the medinas and kasbahs in the south), private ground transport in an air-conditioned vehicle or train tickets, a private driver-guide or separate driver and local city guides, and the activities or entrance visits listed in the plan. International flights, most meals beyond breakfast, tips and personal spending are typically not included — your written quote always spells out exactly what is and isn't covered.
How far ahead should I book a Morocco itinerary?
For peak periods — spring, autumn and the main holidays — booking two to three months ahead gives the best choice of hotels, riads, guides and desert camps, which fill quickly. Shorter Casablanca- or city-based trips can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice, and we do our best with later requests, though availability and choice narrow closer to the dates.
