Overview

A half-day private visit to Hassan II Mosque — one of the only mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslims — with a licensed guide and skip-the-line timed entry.

Hassan II Mosque is Casablanca's defining monument: built partly over the Atlantic, it holds 25,000 worshippers inside and another 80,000 on its esplanade, beneath a 210m minaret — the tallest religious structure in the world. It is one of very few mosques in Morocco that admits non-Muslims, and only on guided timed tours.

We collect you from your hotel or the port, secure your timed entry ticket, and walk you through the prayer hall, the retractable cedar roof, the hammam in the basement and the ablution fountains with a licensed guide who explains the seven years of craftsmanship — zellij tile, carved cedar and Venetian glass — behind it. Drop-off back at your hotel or onward to the Corniche.

  • Skip-the-line timed entry to the prayer hall
  • Licensed guide on the architecture and craftsmanship

Frequently asked

Questions about this tour.

Is "Hassan II Mosque, Guided" private or a group tour?

100% private. Just you and the people you book with — your own driver, vehicle and pace from start to finish. We never pool travellers.

Can I change the dates or itinerary?

Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add a day, swap a riad, change the start city — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.

How fit do I need to be?

Easy. Light walking on medina cobblestones, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.

When should I book?

For high season (Oct–Apr) and any trip involving the Sahara or hot-air balloon, book 8–12 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.

Can non-Muslims really go inside?

Yes. Hassan II is one of only a handful of mosques in Morocco open to visitors of all faiths, and only on the official guided tours. We book your timed slot in advance so you skip the ticket queue.
